We leave for Colorado tomorrow- I can't wait to be home! My kitties are there- Neko's been very upset that I've been gone for so long. Apparently he shredded one of my Tori Amos posters to express his displeasure. Such a grumpy little Cancerian kitty.

I went to this South Park mall in Charlotte, NC and hung out by myself for a while. Such a shmah shmah place! I got a pair of Doc Martens- my first pair. Woo hoo! Am I now really a Seattle chick? I saw Mansfield Park- what a brilliant movie! I absolutely loved the cinematography, acting, story... you get the idea. Tom and I went out for dinner, where I had the world's largest and best baked potato. Yum.

I arrive in Charlotte, NC- barely. Why is it that when you have a connecting flight, the planes all run late? Luckily, I made it home. I didn't want to do anything but curl up on the couch and sleep by the time I got to Tom's parents' house...so that's what I did!

Lou Bega sang in the New Year, and we were showered with confetti, some of which I snagged for a momento. It's probably been shredded in my jacket pocket... but maybe I can salvage some. Happy New Year! I was never in a television New Year celebration before. Oh yes, and as we were leaving we saw the man himself (Lou Bega) and his enterouge. Remind me to check on how to spell that. It was very exciting, all around.

We're in Vancouver Canada! I've never been out of the United States before- my resolution this year was to spend as much time out of the country as possible. The customs was scary- or at least, the line was. I visited Murchies, this lovely tea shop, and had excellent tea and leftover indian food. Of course, I had a cold for the pseudo-millenium, but it can't be helped. Five hundred cups of echinacea tea later, we went to see Millenium 2000 with Lou Bega. If you have time, check later for pictures of my glittery glittery glittery fairy princess gown...
