Why do the good girls always
It's Spring Break, and we've been going out to boogy. I hope you aren't too scandalized by our crazy crazy clothes! I got all dressed up Friday, and Elizabeth was my makeup godess for the evening- as you can see, I have an unaccustomed amount of blush on.As you can see, me and my companions in crime got all dressed up in bad girl clothes and got ready for a night on the town in Denver. Tricky tricky... Unfortunately, we took so much time prissing that we didn't leave until 12:30!

Red and Risky!
Here I am, being photographed by Gina. Smile, smile, smile, we're going dancing! I just hoped that the club wasn't closed- and true enough, the club Polyester's did close soon after we arrived, but a bartender told us of an afterhours club, where they served Energy drinks, not alcoholic ones. Polyesters played 70's, 80's stuff, and Synergy played pure rave/techno music.
You would think that with all that red, we might get arrested- but actually a surprisingly nice policeman was our Guardian Angel after we left an afterhours nightclub (Synergy) and headed to our car. He watched from his police car while we got into the car and left for home. Ulterior motives? perhaps...
I told Elizabeth to give me a mean look. This is what came out. Eek! Remind me not to meet her on a dark alley! She's just letting her inner rock star come out. Of all my friends, I think she reminds me most of Tori. "Never was a cornflake girl.." Coincidentally, we went to see Tori together, when she last came to Denver. It was fun, but too bad the show took place in an ugly new building resembling a mall. Tori said she felt like Tiffany.
This is my X files take on Elizabeth and her outfit. Don't you think she could be standing next to Skully in this picture? I think so. What a bad girl she is. Speaking of the X-Files, we recently went to see David Duchovny in the premiere of "Return to Me"- what a blissful movie it was, too. David Duchovny kising and wearing jeans, oh happy happy day.
Here is a lovely picture of my real live fairy friend, Gina, who has magic in her eyes. Isn't she pretty? And check out the fairy dress that Titania spun for her out of butterfly webs and flower pollen! Too bad her wings are invisible! (unless viewed in the special light of the full moon!!!) Speaking of which, do you know when the next full moon is? I can't wait...
Even fairies smile, and Gina was ready to go out and enjoy herself. At this point, we couldn't believe how late it had gotten, and were hoping we'd find somewhere to go dance at! Her hubby got to watch us be silly girls and put on makeup and jewelry, but he opted to not go with us . . . Probably because we were being excessively silly all night, and giggling far too much.
Before we left though, we had to show you the flowers I put in Gina's hair! Elizabeth and I tried to style Gina's hair and failed, but after she arranged it, I insisted that flowers were needed. I tried to talk her into a fairy wreath, but to no avail. better luck at a Rennaisance festival, I hope. Remember last year, when we all went to the Rennaisance festival and made our own wreaths?

Kelli was gone to New York for the dancin' at Synergy, but we managed to go out to a club with her before Spring Break even started! Here's her, me and Tom- and our BOOTS. Nothing beats a good pair of boots for a night on the town. Especially my perfect boots from Vancouver. I wish I could wear them every day.

Here we are, boots side by side- I tell you, they're the only way to go. Isn't my shirt cool? The whole sleeve thing was very fun for me. Oh, and before you freak out- the skirt has shorts attached, so nothing was revealed.... It is not as short as it looks, really. No, really... I found both shirt and skirt at this place called Rave, which is where Gina and I buy most of our new clothing.
This was from ages ago, but snowboarding boots are kind of like real boots, right? Look at me go! Or, sit, with my snowboard, anyway! Snowboarding is great, especially here in Colorado. Wish you were here! Isn't the snow gorgeous? The mountains are incredible.
